This synthetic polymer is based on PEG (polyethylene glycol) and fatty acids derived from coconut oil.

PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate acts as a lubricant on the skin's surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It also helps to form emulsions by reducing the surface tension of the substances to be emulsified.

Properties:

Universally applicable, especially in liquid soaps, lotions, body washes, shower gels, hair shampoos, facial cleansers, bubble baths, decorative cosmetics.

They also help other ingredients to dissolve in a solvent in which they would not normally dissolve.
